<address> Barnaby Lodge <lb/> Greystones <lb/>Dublin </address>,<date>2<hi rend="superscript">nd</hi>, 1915 </date> <salute>My dearest Muddie</salute> <p>I will write a few lines before <lb/> being called as I am sure it will be <lb/> impossible later. We had a great <lb/> rushing round yesterday, I think May <lb/> was genuinely glad to have someone <lb/> to go with her. It is very sad that <lb/> owing to being unable to give seven <lb/> days notice they cannot be married <lb/> by ordinary licence but have to <lb/> pay £10 for a special licence & <lb/> there very nearly was a bad muddle <lb/> over that as the Registrar mixed their <lb/> papers & gave May <unclear>is</unclear> which has <lb/> to be signed by <unclear>Miss</unclear> Robinson & sent <lb/> May's to Avoca, however fortunately <lb/> cousin E. very cleverly discovered this</p>
