(12) Each advising examiner shall examine answer books. if
<lb/>possible Honour answer books, to the value of approximately £50,
<lb/>this value to include whatever answer books must be read by the
<lb/>advising examiner under Rule 11 (Examiners) to ascertain that the
<lb/>arranged standard in marking has been maintained. 
(13) Inspectors of the Board may be called upon to act,
<lb/>without additional remuneration, as Advising Examiners or as
<lb/>Examiners to set papers in subjects or parts of subjects, and
<lb/>shall be allowed actual expenses of locomotion, and a subsistence
<lb/>allowance of £1 for each night of absence from home while attend&#x2014;
<lb/>ing conferences in Dublin or &#x2014; if a saving to the Office may
<lb/>thereby be effected &#x2014; elsewhere
(14) The rates of remuneration for marking papers shall be
<lb/>as follows:&#x2014;
