<lb/>CHIEF SECRETARY'S <lb/>10917 — 28 JUN 1916 <lb/>OFFICE <lb/> <lb/>OFFICES:NENAGH <lb/><date>26' DAY OF June 1916.</date> <lb/><hi rend="underline">The King v O'Sullivans</hi> <lb/<hi rend="underline">Expenses of Rev<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Mc Cronin <lb/>as witness.</hi> <lb/>Under Secretary, <lb/>Rev.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Mc Cronins claim <lb/>for expenses was submitted <lb/>for your directions through <lb/>the Police at Clonmel, not through <lb/>me, and was dealt with by <lb/>Your <hi rend="underline">Order No. 7989</hi> of 12th <lb/>May 1916, and amount paid <lb/>by me, £ 0.16.0 and it appears <lb/>in my May Account. <lb/>Revd McCronin attended as <lb/>a witness at Clonmel as he <lb/>states, and would be entitled to <lb/>allowances for that day. <lb/><salute>Michael Gleeson..</salute> <lb/> <lb/><note>Registrar, <lb/>Please annex 7989 <lb/>CWG. <lb/><date>28-6-16</date> <lb/>Inform Revd. Mc Cronin <lb/>in reply to his letter of 22nd <lb/>inst. relating to his expenses <lb/>as a witness in this case that <lb/>T.E. find on inquiry that he <lb/>has been paid at the maximum <lb/>rate authorised by the Lords Com <lb/>of H.M. Treasury, and T.E. regret <lb/>to be unable to order any additional <lb/>payment to be made to him. <lb/><salute>I .S.T. <lb/><date>29-6-16</date></salute></note> <pb/>
